McFerson Commons Park Surprise Proposal | Kaitlyn + Chait

Surprise proposals might honestly be the most fun to shoot.

It’s so awesome to be apart of a surprise, and try to be stealth while taking photos! I texted Chait all day about his plans and where he’d be and where I would be and I arrived a little early to meet him having a drink at Boston’s right next to the park! Chait had it planned very well - Kaitlyn thought he was out of town this weekend and didn’t know that when she got dropped off at the beautiful arch at McFerson Commons that he would come out from behind it to surprise her!

After they embraced, he gets down on one knee and then you hear people walking by cheering, and cars driving by honking their horns. That was the perfect time for me to cross the street and get close up as he popped the question to which she of course said, YES!

Kaitlyn cried some happy tears and the surprise was pulled off! I was able to snap a few portraits of them together before they headed off to celebrate with their loved ones!
